Amazáe Special Events is hiring! We are looking for a full-time well qualified office manager to help us in the studio and at events. POSITION: Events & Design Office Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage day-to-day office and business tasks

OFFICE MANAGER DUTIES include, but not limited to:

  • Perform desk and telephone reception as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date organizational calendar
  • Oversee scheduling and efficient tracking of staff vacation, personal and comp time
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and schedule the use of computer network, phone system, copiers, fax machine, and other office equipment
  • Coordinate and lead staff needs around issues
  • Maintain stock and organization of office supplies
  • Coordinate mail, email and fax processing (receiving, dissemination, sending and bulk mailings)
  • Serve as primary contact for interns
  • Coordinate office cleaning and facilities maintenance
  • Provide assistance with writing and editing blogs
  • Writing marketing materials
  • Assist with in house marketing social events
  • Assist and attend Networking events
  • Prioritize, route and follow-up on all action items in a timely manner
  • Assist web-designer update website content
  • Assist with a wide range of diverse client and vendor issues
  • Schedule and coordinate initial consultations, site visits, and checkpoint meetings with clients and vendors
  • Submitting to different blogs and publications
  • Manage various vendor pick-up and drop-offs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least three years of experience in office administration
  • At least two years of management experience
  • Strong written, oral communication, and relationship building skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in design and art, art history, or studio art

HOURS/PAY:

  • Depending on Experience
  • 30 plus hours a week
